This workshop brings insights and learnings from the new Professional Certificate in Showstop® Procedure supported by The Pink Bows Foundation.
Emerging from the Astroworld tragedy, this course has provided training to more than 250 professionals on how best to implement immediate intervention to stop a live performance if there is a credible threat to life safety.
In the session, delegates will hear case studies from Paleo and Roskilde Festivals, the first two European festivals to train and implement the new procedure.
Roskilde Festival
Jesper Adler is a Crowd Safety Manager working with Roskilde Festival, one of Europe’s largest and most influential music festivals. At Roskilde, Jesper has been responsible for planning, implementing and leading the first European festival´s team of Certified Showstop® Managers, ensuring that high-pressure decisions around crowd safety are executed with clarity and care.
In addition to this role, Jesper works across a range of events through RFX, focusing on operational crowd management and the development of live safety protocols tailored to each event environment. With deep experience on the ground and a calm command under pressure, he helps bridge the gap between planning and real-time response.
