It’s no secret that festivals can be a powerful cultural force, able to influence the behaviour of millions of people annually. And at a time when corporate social responsibility is more important than, some festivals are now as much a celebration of values as they are of music.
So when it comes to social and environmental responsibility, are they doing enough, and what great examples already exist? And how responsible is the festival business for developing future headliners, and the workforce and talent that powers them?
