VISITING IFF

When collecting your IFF pass, all delegates will be asked for proof of either:

1. A recognised Covid-passport showing proof of both vaccinations at least 14 days prior, or recovery from Covid. Passports include the NHS Covid Pass, or EU Digital Covid Certificate, or
2. Proof of a negative lateral flow test or PCR test taken within 48 hours of arriving at IFF.

Hand sanitiser will be available in all venues, and all IFF venues have enhanced procedures in place for cleaning all public areas, as well as backstage to front of house throughout each day. Toilets are regularly cleaned and sanitised.

In line with current Government guidance, none of the IFF venues will require delegates to wear a mask or socially distance once inside.

If you, or someone you live with displays symptoms associated with COVID-19, then please do not attend IFF.

VISITING ENGLAND

All overseas travellers to the UK are subject to additional entry requirements due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The rules for entry will depend on the current classification of the country you are arriving from, which are designated as either red, orange or green.

An up to date list of requirements can be found on the Gov.uk website here.

GREEN LIST COUNTRIES

Travellers from Green list countries (including Germany, Denmark, Austria, Canada and Switzerland) are NOT required to quarantine or self isolate in the UK, regardless of whether they have been double vaccinated or not.

If you have visited a country on the Red or Amber lists in the 10 days before entering the UK, you must follow the rules for those countries.

If you are traveling to IFF from Europe or overseas, from a green list country, you must fulfil three requirements:

1. Take a certified Covid test no more than three days before departure
2. Book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test – to be taken after arrival in England
3. Complete a passenger locator form. (Please note that you need the booking reference of your pre-booked Day 2 test to complete it.)

Your Day 2 PCR Test

This must be taken on, or before, Day 2 of being in the UK. Some countries require a Covid test when returning home, in which case you can also use this Day 2 test.

There are a LOT of options for arranging the test, which is simple to complete:

1. It is possible to take your Day 2 test on arrival at the airport (check the airport website), or if arriving by Eurostar at centres next to the station.
2. Pre-order a test to your hotel, then post the results back to the provider’s laboratory (a list of some of the many suppliers offering this service is here). We’ve used Randox very successfully (the link to their Day 2 test service is here) and if you drop off a completed Randox test at the IFF registration desk, we will post it for you. Randox charges £43 for the test if you use the discount code BritishAirways.
3. We have negotiated a special £70 rate for IFF delegates with JP Pharmacy in Camden (139 Camden High St, NW1 7JR). To pre-book, download the form here and email it to jppharmacy@nhs.net at least 72 hours before leaving. On arrival in Camden, collect the test kit, then drop it off once completed. Results will be emailed to you within 24 hours. For bulk orders, test kits can be delivered and picked up locally.

Please get in touch with any questions on this – we’re happy to help (info@iff.rocks).

AMBER LIST COUNTRIES

Travellers from Amber list countries (including Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands & Poland) who have been double vaccinated are NOT required to quarantine or self isolate in the UK.

If you have visited a country on the Red list in the 10 days before entering the UK, you must follow the rules for those countries.

If you are traveling to IFF from Europe or overseas, from an amber list country, you must fulfil three requirements:

1. Take a certified Covid test no more than three days before departure
2. Book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test – to be taken after arrival in England
3. Complete a passenger locator form. (Please note that you need the booking reference of your pre-booked Day 2 test to complete it.)

RED LIST COUNTRIES

Because of the requirement for visitors from red list countries to self isolate for 10 days on arrival, we do not recommend delegates from those countries attend IFF this year.
