The IFF 2023 speaker lineup is now full, and today we can can reveal our final complete panels and additions.
On Wednesday 27 September, The Audience Session: Community Matters will present unique insight data and a line-up of specialists to discuss how festivals and their artists keep up with a changing audience, all while keeping fans engaged both at the event and beyond.
Ticketmaster SVP Client Development Dan Pearce chairs, while guest speakers include TikTok’s head of music UK David Mogendorff, Pinkpop festival manager Niek Murray, United Talent Agency agent Sophie Roberts and head of international booking at Sziget Cultural Management, Virag Csiszar.
And last but not least, Headliners: The Winner Takes It All? on Thursday 28 September will jump into the the annual scramble for headliners and major artists for festival line-ups. Throw in gender gaps; fee expectations; and increasing red tape, expenses, and travel times getting between borders, and festival booking becomes a dark art indeed.
Joining chair Andy Duggan (WME) for this session will be Mad Cool Festival’s Cindy Castillo, founding partner & agent at X-ray Touring, Ian Huffam, Event Horizon’s Josh Koram and Natalie Ryan-Williams, promoter of international talent at Luger / Way Out West.
